On Saturday, October 26th, our Accessible Communication Co-ordinator Hannah is delivering a Signalong Training Workshop from 10am – 2pm at Acomb Explore Library.
Signalong is based on British Sign Language and uses unaltered BSL signs wherever possible. The difference between Signalong and other sign-supported communication is the way that the signs are presented, and the number of signs used to communicate. This makes Signalong a great accessible communication method for people with additional needs.
The course costs £20 (subsidies available) and it's open to anyone with an interest in using Signalong.
