Making a difference could be easier than you think!
Have you ever considered volunteering but didn’t think you had the time?
We’re looking for new people to join our fabulous team of fundraising volunteers and it could be a lot easier than you think.
All it takes to make a big difference is an hour or two of your time.
You could find yourself helping to run a stall, being part of a cheer squad at a challenge event or helping with a collection at a gig.
AAM wouldn’t be here without people like you. All we ask is that you're friendly, outgoing and willing to give new things a try. You don’t need any previous experience, we’ll show you everything you need to know.
As a fundraising volunteer, you’ll get to:
- Have fun and meet new people – If you love what we do, we’d love to meet you! Fun and friendships are really important to us. Volunteering with us, you’ll get to meet lots of new people and you’ll always leave with a smile on your face.
- Be part of the community – We’re all part of the AAM community here, and everyone has an important part to play. You’ll become part of this, and you’ll also be making a big difference to people in the local community.
- Give your mental health a boost – It’s been shown that volunteering can improve mental wellbeing and lead to an increase in confidence and self-esteem. As well as feeling proud of the difference you’re making for the people who take part in our projects, you can make a positive difference for yourself too.
- Come along to our gigs and social events – Our members love performing and as a volunteer, you’ll be the first to know about any upcoming gigs, concerts or shows. We also hold an annual social get together where you’ll get the chance to meet other volunteers, staff, and our fabulous participants.
Can you help with at least one fundraising event over the course of a year? If so, please fill out this form with your contact details so we can tell you more.
