AAM commissioned to deliver specialist music training

This summer our Accessible Communication Coordinator, Hannah, will be working with staff and students at Fullerton House school to develop and expand their specialist music provision.

Fullerton House School is a residential school offering flexible education and care for young people aged 8 to 19. They support young people with complex needs including challenging behaviour and a learning disability, often in association with autism.

Accessible Arts & Media have been commissioned by Fullerton House to run 10 weekly sessions over in Doncaster. Hannah will be supporting and training staff to deliver their own singing and signing and sensory music sessions at the school.

Last week Hannah and Alison took some of our fab Hands & Voices trainees over to Doncaster to give a singing and signing performance and communication workshop. Staff and pupils got to see first hand how effective and fun accessible music making can be.

We'd like to say a big thank you to everyone at Fullerton House for making us so welcome. We're really looking forward to working with everyone this summer!
