Hands & Voices and IMPs raise the roof at Asda

Last week, we heard the news of a train strike and had to do a last-minute venue change so that our Busking Bonanza, planned for York station, could go ahead.

Luckily, Asda Community Champion and AAM hero, Cyndi Walton came to the rescue and offered us a spot at the Monks Cross store.

We got the word out in time and had a fantastic turnout. The Hands & Voices and IMPs choirs were on form, as always, and nothing could stop them from raising the roof!

The roof wasn’t the only thing that was raised – the choirs raised an incredible £400 for the projects. How AAM-azing is that!

A huge thanks to all the AAM-azing volunteers and Asda Community Champion Cyndi for helping us in a pinch – you rock!

Did you miss them?

There's still time to support Hands & Voices and IMPs by heading over to our donation page, or by texting AAMEDIA 5 (or however much you can afford) to 70085

No donation is too small and we’re so grateful for your support!
