King’s Coronation Tea Party – A party fit for a King!

It’s no secret that our participants love to hang out with their friends. And what better reason than to celebrate the new King?

On Monday 8th May, we spruced up Foxwood Community Centre with bunting made by participants and put on a party fit for a King

We had a crown competition to see who could decorate the best crown – each design was different, making it a tough call to decide the winner. If we could wear them all at once, we would!

But there had to be a winner and the group decided that David should be crowned the ‘Best Crown’ award!

There was even a Royal disco pumping out tunes chosen by the participants – we had great fun dancing. When we weren’t boogying or decorating crowns, we were catching up with friends over tea and cake.

Speaking of cakes, everyone decided that Elizabeth was the winner of the best cake with her fab homemade goodies!

What a wonderful way to celebrate the new King and round off a Bank Holiday weekend.
