Make this year’s Big Festive Buskathon count!
On Saturday 16th December participants, volunteers and AAM staff will be heading down to Coppergate, York to spread some festive cheer. They’ll be singing and signing all the festive favourites from 11am - 1pm – and raising vital funds for the projects they take part in.
Every year, our Hands and Voices and Inclusive Music Projects (IMPs) choirs head to Coppergate in York to sing and sign a medley of festive favourites. And every year they bring smiles to the faces of Christmas shoppers and have loads of fun!
This year IMPs have been invited by York Inspirational Kids to take part in a special carol concert at York Minster, so members of Movers & Shakers will be stepping in to take their place.
We’d love to end 2023 on high and raise an epic amount of money so our participants can keep making music together next year. Can you help?
Get involved
There are loads of ways you can get involved in helping us make it the best Buskathon ever.
You can:
• Help with the bucket collection on the day. A great way to soak up the energy of the crowd, see participants shine and help raise money for AAM. We guarantee you’ll leave with a smile on your face. Email Lauren at hello@aamedia.org.uk if you’d like to help with a bucket collection.
• Bring a friend or two along to be our cheer squad. The more the merrier!
• Like and share our content. We’ll be snapping and filming away on the day and sharing the results on social media. Liking and sharing these videos means lots more people get to see how great our guys are!
