Fundraise while you shop

As well as using our online donation tool to make a one-off or regular donation, there are lots of other ways you can raise money for AAM. Did you know you can raise money while doing your online shopping? And it won't cost you a penny!

Have a look below at the different ways you can fundraise while you shop.

EasyFundraising

Did you know whenever you buy anything online – from your weekly shop to your annual holiday – you could be raising free donations for AAM with EasyFundraising?

There are over 7,000 shops and sites on board, ready to make a donation – including eBay, Argos, John Lewis, ASOS, Booking.com and M&S – and it won’t cost you a penny extra to help us raise funds.

All you need to do is:

  1. Go to our EasyFundraising page and join for free.
  2. Download their handy 'donation reminder' tool for your computer. Or - if you're using your mobile phone or tablet, download their app
  3. Then every time you shop online with one of their retailers, a handy reminder will pop up. 
  4. Simply click on the reminder to say you'd like them to make a donation.
  5. After you’ve checked out, the retailer will make a donation to AAM, at no extra cost to you whatsoever!
There are no catches or hidden charges and you’ll be supporting AAM every time you shop. 

Give as You Live

Give as You Live adds an extra bit of feel-good to your online shopping. To help AAM, all you need to do is start your browsing with Give as You Live. With 6,000 retailers onboard including Not On The High Street, Aldi, Etsy and more, you're guaranteed to find your favourite store. The way it works is the stores reward Give as You Live for sending customers their way with donations to their chosen charity - simple!

All you need to do is: 

  1. Go to Give as You Live and sign up for free.
  2. Download their handy 'donation reminder' tool for your computer. Or - if you're using your mobile phone or tablet, download their app
  3. Then every time you shop online with one of their retailers, a handy reminder will pop up. 
  4. Simply click on the reminder to say you'd like them to make a donation on your behalf.
  5. After you’ve checked out, the retailer will make a donation to AAM, at no extra cost to you!

There are no catches or hidden charges and you'll be supporting AAM every time you shop. 

eBay for Charity

Buying new and used goods through eBay? Did you know you can support AAM while you shop, even when buying second-hand goods? Here are a few ways you can help:

  • Look for the charity ribbon icon in the item description when browsing for items - This tells you that the seller is committed to donating part of or all of the proceeds from a charity. 
  • Donate to AAM at check out - Select Accessible Arts & Media as your favourite charity, and then, every time you pay for items on eBay you’ll have the chance to make a donation.
  • Donate directly with the Donate Now button. Find your favourite charity through the Charity Search on eBay for Charity, then donate your chosen amount through PayPal. 

Did you know you could also raise money for AAM while selling your clothes with Thrift+? 

Thrift+

Been meaning to ditch those clothes that've been hanging around in the back of the wardrobe but haven't had the time? Tried selling online but listing items was too time-consuming?

Well, Thrift+ have got you covered. They take the hassle out of selling unwanted clothes online.

What's more, charities like AAM can benefit from it too!

All you need to do is:

    1. Register for free by heading to the Thrift+ website.
    2. Order your free Thrift+ bags to be sent out to you
    3. Pop your clothes in the bag when it arrives
    4. Scan the QR code on the bag or log in to tell them you're returning your full bag.
    5. Select Accessible Arts & Media as your chosen charity. Choose what percentage of your sale you’d like to donate. You can donate anything from 10% to 100% of your final sale price to AAM.
    6. Find your local collection point via their site and drop the bag off at a time that suits you.

And they'll do the rest! That's right, they'll take and upload photos and list them on their site.

They'll also handle the sales. Once an item has sold, you'll be notified how much it made and how much is being donated to AAM. Simple!

From Valentine’s Day to Christmas cards, Making a Difference Cards have you covered. They’ve got loads of designs to choose from including our own funky creations designed by our members. So grab a card and make a difference today.

All you need to do is:

    1. Head to the Making a Difference Cards website.
    2. Click ‘Supported Charities’
    3. Search for Accessible Arts & Media and hit enter
    4. Scroll down to find a card for the occasion of your choice.
    5. Pop your chosen design in your basket and head to the checkout 

Making a Difference Cards let you add a donation amount to your order at checkout that will go back into the projects that made our fab designs.

Don't Send Me a Card

Look out for the environment while supporting Accessible Arts & Media. Send an e-card with Don’t Send Me a Card using their library of designs, or choose a card designed by our members. With just a few clicks, you could be helping us raise vital funds for our projects while sending love to someone’s inbox. And we think that’s pretty AAM-azing.

Here’s what you need to do:

    1. Head to the Don’t Send Me a Card website.
    2. Click Charities and search for Accessible Arts & Media
    3. Head to our page and select the occasion
    4. Click on your favourite design.
    5. Select your donation and head to check out!
